In the past few months, John Casson, our National Leader, has been busy visiting all of the Communities across UK. We were curious to learn what he’d experienced in that time. Therefore, we sat down with John face to face and asked him, ‘Now that you’ve had some time to settle into your role, what can you tell us about L’Arche? What have you witnessed during the time you’ve spent in the Communities?
What is L’Arche made of? Here is what he had to say:

I’ve seen how people with disability often get the worst of it... but I’ve also seen how, when people in L’Arche come together, something extraordinary happens.

Our greatest wish in L’Arche is to keep on expanding the real, actual love John is talking about in the video. What that means is we are constantly looking for ways to connect, welcome people into our extended family. This is where you come in!
