We are a Community of around 50 people, including people with and without learning disabilities, support assistants, volunteers, friends and neighbours, based in the town of Ipswich.
Set on the river Orwell, Ipswich is an attractive and ancient town in East Anglia, an hour by train from central London. The parks, gyms, pools, cinemas, theatre and shops in Ipswich all offer its residents a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. The L’Arche Community is in a quiet residential area, within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Our Community includes thirteen people with learning disabilities who we support in two family-sized houses.
