L'Arche Bognor Regis

We are a Community of around 120 people, based in the south coast town and seaside resort of Bognor Regis, in West Sussex.

Situated halfway between the cities of Brighton and Portsmouth, and with easy railway links into London, Bognor is well known as the sunniest town in Britain. The town has its own theatre, an iconic cinema, parks, cafes and restaurants, sport and leisure centres, nightlife, music festivals, museum.

L’Arche Bognor Regis supports around 25 people with learning disabilities at home. Some choose to live in their own flat, others share their home with one or more learning disabled housemates and sometimes with their support assistants too. We also run our own drama, singing, music, horticulture and creative clubs, aiming to nurture and celebrate everyone’s talents while promoting independence and communications skills.

Over nearly five decades, we have built strong relationships with neighbours, local churches and community groups in the town, and support people to participate in the wide range of sports, cultural and social activities on offer locally.
