When Rory left school, he dreamed of dancing on the London stage.

This video launched to mark Learning Disability Week 2024 in L’Arche UK’s 50th year – follows Rory’s dream. From his family home in Inverness, to the dance studio, and finally the Pleasance Theatre, London, alongside a cast of 20 dancers. And all to the tune of Take That’s classic hit Shine

All the dancers are people with and without learning disabilities from one of the 11 L’Arche Communities in the UK. The video was produced, choreographed and directed by Light Entertainment professionals who used to work together on Stars in Their Eyes. So it’s shiny!
