Richard Keagan-Bull, a member of L’Arche London, is one of a small handful of people with learning disabilities with an academic position. Along with a team of researchers based in Kingston and St George’s University, London, Richard has published a paper of the process of getting his job. This paper carries great significance as it explores the advantages of including people with learning disabilities in research teams and to what extent recruitment procedures at the university are accessible to job applicants with learning disabilities.
