You can find our Community in the South Coast town and seaside resort of Bognor Regis. It has the highest known yearly level of sunshine of any British mainland area, which is why Bognor Regis has been named the sunniest town in Britain!

Set halfway between the cities of Brighton and Portsmouth, Bognor Regis has great railway links with London and the rest of the country.

Bognor Regis is a lively seaside town which offers its own theatre and traditional picture house cinema, parks, cafes and restaurants, sport and leisure centres, nightlife, music festivals, museum. It’s nearby towns of Arundel, Littlehampton and Chichester extend the range of activities/interests and events even more.  

In L’Arche Bognor Regis, we support around 25 people with learning disabilities at home. Some choose to live in their own flat, others prefer to share their home with one or more housemates who have a learning disability and perhaps with their support assistants as well.

We encourage and support people to access a wide range of activities - benefitting from the wealth of educational, social, sporty, creative and occupational opportunities on offer locally. At the centre of L’Arche Bognor Regis Community life are our own drama, singing, music, horticultural and creative clubs. Our aim is to provide programmes which nurture and celebrate people’s talents while promoting independence and communication skills.

Since it was first opened in February 1978, L’Arche has built and maintained relationships with neighbours, local churches and other community groups across the Bognor Regis and surrounding areas.
