Supported living

In L'Arche Highland, we provide supported living opportunities either in one of our four shared houses (see below), or to folk in their own homes, depending upon preference and need. This support ranges from 24/7 one-to-one support to 50 hours per week, which can be a mix of 1:1 and shared support. We support people in their own homes in Raigmore Estate, Millburn and Holm.

Workshops

L’Arche is renowned in the Highlands for our vibrant workshops, supporting over fifty adults with learning disabilities each week. Skills and activities include woodwork, horticulture and crafting candles, as well as mastering valuable life skills. Our workshops radiate with creativity and our unique handcrafted products are sold at seasonal sales hosted by the team on site, as well as in local shops and businesses throughout the area. The skills we teach and learn enrich people's daily lives and pave the way for more community involvement, including planning for employed work, should the person desire that.

Whichever type of support one chooses, everyone is part of the L’Arche Highland community and invited to Community events.
