We are a small Community of around 40 people, based in a market town within the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park.
Brecon is a small town, full of independent cafes, galleries, a cinema, a cathedral - and is known for the famous Brecon Jazz Festival. We sit on the River Usk and have a canal running through the town too.
Our Community includes around 20 people with learning disabilities, our core members, who we support at home. Since opening in 1988, we have built deep links with our neighbours, local churches and other community groups.
We also run an inclusive workshop located in the buzzing town centre, which is home to Rebound Books - a project where we repurpose used books and turn them into beautiful diaries and notebooks. In 2023, Rebound Books received a sustainability award at the world-renowned Hay Festival.
