A fantastic opportunity to spend a day immersed in the L'Arche environment. Many large companies offer volunteering leave each year, so why not make the most of it? Yann, L'Arche volunteer

Volunteering at L’Arche is a great way to develop your teams’ skills of communication and teamwork, gain an understanding about disability inclusion, and support our ambition to build a community where all can belong. We welcome groups to spend a day in our community gardens and workshops, working on a project and meeting some of our members with learning disabilities.

We are currently looking for corporate support with:

  • Helping to run our community events, such as coffee mornings, Christmas discos, and summer barbecues.
  • Updating our communal courtyard (removing old furniture, repainting, power-washing tiles, and gardening).
  • Doing up our houses’ gardens, including planting, pruning, and laying paths.

There is always something going on in our community that we need help with so if none of the above suits your team, or you have particular skills you would like to share, get in touch with our Volunteer Coordinator.

Please note we charge a fee per head for any corporate volunteering sessions. This money enables us to develop our mission of relational care.
