The year she left school, Laura Harper spent a year as a L’Arche assistant in the Dominican Republic. It opened her eyes to a world she’d never known before. Laura discovered the beauty in every person, in sharing daily life with others, and how she could grow by taking responsibility for others. 

That year led Laura into a career in local government, and she got involved with L’Arche back here in the UK as well. This summer, she became L’Arche UK’s National Leader. Discover more of Laura's story in the video below.
