Walking Together

On Saturday 5th October, the L’Arche Communities in the UK will be joining together to take part in a new annual event in aid of L’Arche International. Walking Together is a fundraising walk for everyone; friends, families and supporters of L’Arche all joining together to celebrate our togetherness and raise money for the International Communities of L’Arche.

The Walk

Each Community will be organising their own walk of between 1-3 miles. The walk will take place around the local area of the Community and will be easily accessible to everyone. So gather the troops and invite your friends, family and colleagues to join you, the more the merrier! Simply choose which Community you would like to walk with by registering your place, we will then be in touch with details of the time and route of where the walk will take place.

Registering your place

Registration costs just £5 per person which will include your own special Walking Together t-shirt and refreshments at the end of the walk. You can register online or through the registration leaflets at the L’Arche communities. We will then be in touch with details of the time and route of where the walk will take place. Come and celebrate the wonderful work of L’Arche and walk together with us!

If you are unable to take part in Walking Together this year, you can still help your Community reach its target. Just click on the link to your Community giving page below. All your support is gratefully received by our International Communities.

Fundraising for L’Arche International

Each Community will be raising money to help L’Arche Communities around the world. Most of our L’Arche International Communities receive little or no state funding, and many of our overseas Communities are trying to deliver support to some of the most vulnerable and most underprivileged people. There is an enormous need for the work and vision of L’Arche; many people depend on us for the safety and security of their lives, and desperately need our support. Please help us to help them.
