As we face a Christmas unlike any other, L’Arche UK has decided to make this our most digital December ever! Here’s how we’re keeping connected whilst we’re apart this Christmas…

Battle of the Fans!

In the spirit of staying connected this Christmas, L’Arche Canada launched the world’s first international lip sync competition hosted by people with learning disabilities. Communities from all over the world were invited to submit a lip sync video to be posted on Facebook in a 24-hour battle against another Community. The video with the most likes, shares and donations on Facebook made it through to the next round. Not familiar with lip sync videos?  Check out some of the first round entries below!

L’Arche UK held our first rounds at the end of November, raising over £1000 for our Communities. Our next battles are due to take place on 14th and 15th December, as the Manchester Community take on Preston, followed by Highland competing against Liverpool. Head to our Facebook page to view the videos and cast your vote!

Digital Advent Calendar

Every day leading up to Christmas we’ll be celebrating a different part of L’Arche in the UK and across the world, as well as sharing Christmas present ideas and stories from outside L’Arche. You can follow this on any of our social media platforms!

London nativity play... on Zoom!

L'Arche London will be hosting their annual nativity a little differently this year! The play, performed my members of the Community, will be hosted via Zoom this year. For more information and to secure your ticket, please contact [email protected]

Merry Christmas, and a very happy New Year to all our wonderful supporters!
