Support Assistant, L'Arche London Are you passionate about working with people with learning disabilities? Build your experience supporting people with learning disabilities in a unique community setting as a full time Assistant at L'Arche London. For 40 years L'Arche London has been providing high quality person centred care, but we're far more than a service provider. We're a community of more than 100 people with and without disabilities living, working and celebrating together. Our roots are in the Christian faith, but we welcome people from all faiths and none: our vision is a world where all belong. Whether you are care professional looking for a fresh outlook, or are new to the care sector looking for experience, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for positive, responsible people who want to help create a community that really tries to value people for who they are and what they can do. You must be willing to work weekends and evenings, and do sleep-overs on a flexible rota basis. The rate for this role starts at £1440 per month, depending on qualifications, plus additional pay for sleepovers. We provide 30 days paid holiday a year, plus a pension. We work hard to look after everyone in our community providing team support and 1-to-1s, a care sector approved Assistants training programme (including sign language, personal care and understanding autism) and a programme of opportunities for professional and personal development.
