L’Arche London is a community of more than 100 people with and without learning disabilities. We live, work and celebrate together.

We’re looking for someone to be a registered manager for our supported housing scheme and registered care home. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality person-centred support, and will lead and inspire your team to ensure we support the practical, social and spiritual needs of everyone in our community.

We provide registered care, supported housing and specialist day services – supporting around 35 people with sometimes complex learning disabilities. We provide a place of belonging to help people with learning disabilities live independent, yet connected lives. We’ve been based in West Norwood, South London for 40 years and we’re part of an international federation of L’Arche Communities in over thirty-five countries worldwide. Founded in the Christian tradition, L'Arche Communities welcome people of all faiths and none: our vision is a world where all belong.

You will be joining us at an exciting time as we’re entering into the next phase of planning for our current business strategy. You will be a key part of the way we develop and shape this future. We're looking at the ways we can provide greater choice for our members with a learning disabilities.  We are looking to build on our existing quality and on the unique values of L’Arche, and to explore opening new schemes and growing the numbers of people we support.  We are looking for a person with knowledge and experience of management in care or supported housing but far more essential is an enthusiasm for our values and the ability to inspire others.
