“…I first became familiar with L’Arche in 2005, when my mum became a Music Therapist and worked with the core members at the Kent community. She is now involved in various other projects; she is involved with a Pastoral group,  led a Retreat in daily life for the community in 2017, and spends time with various members of the community on a one to one basis.

L’Arche Kent has, therefore, been an indirect part of my life since I was a child. Seeing my mum give so much to the members, and gain so much for herself has always inspired me. L’Arche makes known the gifts of people with disabilities and creates communities of care, support and friendship for people with disabilities and those who assist them. It’s about sharing a life together and sharing the individual gifts we all bring to life.

I am delighted that now I have the opportunity to contribute to L’Arche, and I am excited that I am getting to do it by doing something I love- Running!

Please sponsor me if you can….”
