£32,714 - £33,420

L'Arche is a worldwide federation of Communities of people with and without learning disabilities working together to create a more human society. Are you a leader who can:

- inspire and lead a community of 100+ people with and without learning disabilities,

and

- manage a team responsible for a budget of £1.3m and a range of housing, care and support services?

L’Arche Kent is an ecumenical Christian community which welcomes people of all faiths and none.

There is a CQC registered manager in post, so although you do not need specific experience of managing housing, care and support services, you do need senior management experience and transferable skills. Application pack available at www.larche.org.uk/vacancies. Closing date 26th April 9am.

The Application Process

Finding out more about L’Arche

L’Arche is more easily experienced than explained. If you would like to find out more about us, then you would be welcome to visit before you complete the application form. To arrange this, phone Dorota on 01227 643 025. If you are short-listed but have not visited the Community before applying, you will be invited to visit on the evening of Monday 31st April / Tuesday 1st or Wednesday 2nd May.

Kathleen Boyle, the Deputy National Leader in L’Arche, would be very happy to talk informally with you to answer any questions and give you a feel for what being a Community Leader in L’Arche is like. Kathleen Boyle is on 07712 394 976 or [email protected].
