Providing excellent care and support is the foundation of our Community. We have an outstanding working relationship with local social services and health authorities and housing associations.

In L’Arche Liverpool, we support people in eight supported living settings. We have different types of housing for people’s different support needs and choices. This includes single tenancy flats, shared houses and flats. Our accommodation is provided by social housing associations. We provide supported hours based on an assessment, support can range from 1:1 support to shared support.

We also have a wide-ranging programme of day activities provided within the Ark Day Service, which is open to people with disabilities living in across the city. Our activities programme is building based and our Garden Project, where we support people to harvest and grow fruit and vegetables. We sell some of our produce locally. There is a number of music, arts and crafts activities and educational sessions to promote independence skills and health and wellbeing.

Friendships and relationships are important to us, we activity create spaces for people to build community including gathering and celebrations.
