L’Arche also welcomes help from other people with skills or time they can offer as volunteers and friends.
Volunteers can provide valuable additional support to Community members:
- providing relief cover in the houses
- helping with work and recreational activities
- inviting people for a meal
- accommodating Assistants on their day or weekend off
- helping with outings
- helping in the offices - National and Community
- being and advocate for a member with learning disabilities
- helping with fundraising or publicity
- organising events
