About L'Arche Inverness

L'Arche Inverness is located in a popular residential area of this town in the Scottish Highlands. It is the second-oldest community of L'Arche in the UK, which celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 1999. Presently home to more than 20 people with learning disabilities and a similar number of assistants, this is a growing community which continues to expand, welcoming new young adult members while also responding to the changing needs of its older members.

The community workshop provides a wide range of crafts and horticultural activities, producing aromatherapy candles, cards, other handicrafts and garden produce of the highest quality. L'Arche Inverness enjoys excellent local links, and some of the country's most beautiful mountain, lake and coastal scenery.
